70th Independence Day Celebration at NIPER-Ahmedabad Campus Gandhinagar - 15th August 2017

The main function was celebrated at the lawn of NIPER-A campus outside faculty block where the Director,Prof. Kiran Kalia; Registrar, Prof. H.C Trivedi; faculty members, students and all staff members gathered with high enthusiasm and energy to celebrate this event. Prof. Kiran Kalia along with semester topper students Shivani Vaidya, Kanchan Vats and Jackson Saraf unfurled the tricolour with security guards and attendees saluting the flag when National Anthem being played. The Institutional premises adopted a festive look with tricolours, flowers, sweets and musical environment adding to the ambiance. The ‘Highlights of the program included "Hum HongeKamyab…” song lead by Prof. Kiran Kalia, which set the radiance of beautiful patriotism among all the attendees. After unfurling the National Flag, Prof. Kiran Kalia delivered the Independence Day speech where she urged all to work towards the betterment of our country and promote unity and integrity of the nation. During her address, she expressed her happiness on the progress of the nation and motivated the people to strive for innovation and invention. She quoted various engaging success stories of the country and stressed that one should endeavor to be a better version of oneself, and for the same, we all should work hard each day. The sweets were distributedto all followed by inauguration of basketball court and tennis court to facilitate physical well-being of the research students.
