    Ms.Kamisetty Leela Mounica M.S Student of Dep’t. Of Pharmacology and Toxicology was selected inIBRO-APRC Associate school at Indira Gandhi National Tribal University (IGNTU) 2019, Amarkantak (M.P.).
  • Ms.Harpreet Kaur and Ms.Deepaneeta Sarmah
    Ms.Harpreet Kaur and Ms.Deepaneeta Sarmah from Department of Pharmacology have been selected for IBRO-Young Investigator Training Programme(YITP ) .YITP comprises of a stay in Korean Neuroscience laboratories for training before attending the IBRO World Neuroscience Congress .It includes Roundtrip airfare (between the awardee’s residing country to South Korea) ,Accommodationfees ,free registration to Congress and all miscellaneous expenses incurred towards the visit .Deepaneeta and Harpreet are among 57 around the world and 4 among India to be selected for this programme. Also, they are the only 2 candidates from the same Institute among various participants from Harvard ,Johns Hopkins ,Emory,Florey Institute ,Columbia Univ.etc.After the training programme they both will present their research at IBRO World Congress of Neuroscience in Korea .Here is the link for Awardee list.
  • Ph.D. Student of Pharmacology and Toxicology Department Ms.Harpreet Kaur won Best E-Poster Award at The XIII Indian National Stroke Conference (INSC-2019), held at Grand O7 (Forum), Bhopal, Ahmedabad, Gujarat from 15th-17th March 2019. Title of her presentation was “Intra-arterial delivery of mesenchymal stem cells modulates neuronal calcineurin expression in a rodent model of ischemic stroke”.

    Ms.Harpreet Kaur Ph.D. scholar Deptt. of Pharmacology and Toxicology, NIPER-A has been awarded ICMR-Senior Research Fellowship (2019-2022) for her study entitled “Stem Cell Therapy to Counteract Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress in Ischemic stroke” under the guidance of Dr. Pallab Bhattacharya
  • Ms. Vishakha Tambe
    Ms. Vishakha Tambe from the Department of Pharmaceutics has been awarded the ICMR-Senior Research Fellowship (2019-2022) for her study entitled “Aptamer Targeted Nanohybrid for Chemo-Photothermal Therapy of Leukemia: An In vitro Proof of Concept” under the guidance of Dr. Rakesh K. Tekade.

    Dr. Pallab Bhattacharya, NIPER-A is one among 5 Indians and 91 International scientists to receive International Brain Research Organization(IBRO) international travel grant for his presentation at the 10th IBRO World Congress taking place in Daegu,South Korea from 21-25 September, 2019.

  • Ms. Deepaneeta Sarmah
    Ms. Deepaneeta Sarmah from Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology receives the Paul Dudley White International Scholar Award. This is a prestigious award by American Heart Association(AHA), USA for the highest ranked abstract submitted from India . This award recognizes the highest ranked AHA abstract from each country around the world.
