Expertise

Working on interdisciplinary research with special emphasis to health and mankind that could be of translational states the uniqueness of my expertise. My emphasis on communicable (Malaria, Dengue and COVID-19), non-communicable diseases (Type 2 diabetes (T2D)) and cancer. I had repurposed grazoprevir and simeprevir as antiviral drugs during COVID-19 pandemic. Pertaining to T2DM I had explored Leptin gene as the hub gene which was unexplored in GWAS and its nsSNP’s which could be a potential genetic marker for T2D therapeutics in Indian population. Explored Hydrastine and Artocarpin with better anti-cancerous activity through in-silico and in-vitro studies. Unzipped the importance of STAT3-PIM1 interaction in Triple Negative Breast cancer. My vision always will be bridging the gap and drawing a flow chart to correlate In-silico, In-vitro and In-vivo studies through establishment of state-of-the art central instrumentation facilities for the betterment of science & society.
